Easter Sunday

We went to Shanda and Kurt's (Landon' sister) on Saturday for a visit to see their new house. It is gorgeous!!!! A brief recap: Landon's fam owned a farm in Lebanon and Granny passed June 2006. They auctioned off the land and Shanda and Kurt ended up getting the plot that Granny and Pa's house was on. Anyways, Shanda had Landon a frame made out of the old barn on the property and put a picture on the farmhouse on it. It is awesome. Our visit was brief though, Lando had to be at work that afternoon. Boo!!! But we thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Pebby, Kurt, Shanda, Abby, and Sam!

Sunday we went to church with Granddaddy, BeBe, and Jo. It was Tooty's (Emme's nickname) first trip to church. She did great. Then it was off to Clarksville to see our cousins (Jeremiah and Jemina) and their families. We had a great time. Tooty had her first egg hunt and Heather (Jeremiah's wife) always plans an egg toss. I pelted Landon with the egg and we were eliminated first. It was work it though. :) They did a sack race too this year. We had a great time everyone, including Carson and Gracie.

Good Friday

Easter weekend started out a bit crazy with the tornadoes in Murfreesboro. Mom, Jody, Emme, and I were actually at Opry Mills during the bad weather. Landon, Dad, and Will kept calling us and telling us to stay put. Jemina could not believe that we were out. Anyways, Nashville was spared, but our hearts go out to Murfreesboro. Landon's step-brother, Daniel, and his wife Ashley's house was destroyed. Everything but their bedroom was demolished. Thank the Lord they are OK. Daniel is getting his master's at MTSU and usually goes home for lunch, but met a friend instead and Ashley was at work in Nashville. We are so glad they were not home. They have two dogs. Daniel rescued their bulldog and in the process cut his wrists up pretty good (he had to get stitched up). They were missing Gaby their other dog. Two days later they found her. She was fifteen miles away with a lady who's mother lived in the neighborhood Daniel and Ashley live in. David, Landon's stepfather went the next day and helped Daniel get some things together and told Landon and I that the TV did not do it justice. He said that it was like a war zone. Anyways, we are so glad they are OK, but I cannot get the Bryant family out of my mind. That is the mother and nine week old daughter that were killed. I do not have any pictures for this post, but just wanted to let you know what was going on.

I'm so behind!!!!!

Well my last post was Valentine's day so we have some catching up to do. ;) It just seems like there are not enough minutes in the day. Work has been hectic for both Landon and I. Emme has had two stomach viruses and a bad cold. In between there we had Spring Break. It was such a wonderful week. I got Jo and I ticket to New Kids on the Block for her birthday. We had a ball. That was the first day of my Spring Break. The rest of the week we just relaxed. That Friday E had her eight months pictures. We cannot believe that she is eight months already!!!! She is saying Dadadada and every now and then, Mamamama. She is almost crawling. I think she will be moving and grooving in the next week. Please help us!!! Of course Landon has been telling her that she is a Dunaway and Dunaways are walking by nine months. :) He is so great with her. They have a great bond and I am so blessed with the both of them. We also celebrated Jo's birthday and Jemina and Carson came down for her Spring Break to visit with Sadie Grace and Em.
